Cry Tuff was born through the hunger for more roots reggae music with a positive vibration.

After having played in other bands and never having really found any roots reggae , Dada da Dada and Nathan John decided to form Cry Tuff and recruit like minded people.

At present we stand as a six piece band and spent the first twelve months practising hard to make sure no stone was left unturned and that the quality of our music and performance shone through!

We play a mixture of covers and original material and have influence from the reggae greats such as Bob Marley to artists like Lytan Fyah as well as our own tastes in Jazz, Soul and Funk music.

Cry Tuff is made up of experienced musicians who have played in bands which frequented many top venues in London and the South East as well as supporting the legendary Burning Spear.

Dada da Dada played under the guise of The Instigater with his own vinyl single enjoying worldwide sales.

We - at present- played ten shows and we are starting to gain aradio airplay.
